Vardhini Vastu is a Vastu consultant in Bellandur for high-rise apartments, lakeside homes and the offices along the Outer Ring Road tech parks, covering Bellandur, Kadubeesanahalli, Devarabisanahalli, Green Glen Layout and the roads towards Sarjapur. Most people we meet here live in tall towers and work long hours, so our advice is built around what you can change inside a fixed apartment. Nothing we suggest involves breaking a wall.
We apply traditional Vastu Shastra with instruments: degree-accurate compass readings at several points, a 16-zone map drawn from the exact centre of the flat and a Lecher Antenna scan. A written report follows within 48 hours.
High floors and long working hours
Bellandur grew quickly around the Outer Ring Road tech parks. Most homes are apartments in large complexes, many with twenty floors or more, and most residents work in technology, often partly from home. The questions we hear are about sleep, focus and harmony at home, far more than about buying land.
In a high-rise flat the structure is fixed. A good assessment concentrates on what you control: which room you sleep in, where the bed and desk face, how the kitchen is used, and how open or closed each zone is kept.
What a Vastu consultant in Bellandur checks first
On a typical Bellandur visit, the first things we map are:
- The bedroom each person sleeps in and the direction of the bed.
- The work desk: its zone, which way you face and what is behind you.
- Balconies and full-height windows, which open zones to the outside.
- Heavy furniture and storage and their position relative to the south-west.
- The kitchen: stove position and cooking direction.
- The north-east: light and clean, or used for storage or a toilet.
From these we build a short, prioritised list of changes that can be made in a weekend.
Sleep and the bedroom
Sleep is the single most common concern among our Bellandur clients. We start with which room is used as the master bedroom. The south-west is traditionally preferred for the head of the family. If the plan places the master bedroom elsewhere, swapping rooms is often possible and effective.
Within the room, the bed head pointing south or west is the usual recommendation. We also look at practical points: mirrors facing the bed, beams overhead, and routers or chargers beside the pillow. A Lecher Antenna reading across the bed position is part of every visit, and if we record a band of disturbance there, we suggest moving the bed.
The work-from-home desk
Many residents work from home several days a week, often for long hours. The desk is placed so you face north or east, with a solid wall behind the chair rather than a door or window. It should sit away from the main walkway and, where possible, in a calm zone of the home.
For video calls we also look at what is behind you on camera and how the light falls on your face. A clear background and daylight from the side are good practice, and they suit the Vastu reading too.
Balconies and lake views
Many Bellandur flats look towards the lake or across open land. In Vastu, water and openness are traditionally welcome in the north and east. A view in that direction is an advantage. If the open side is the south or west, we suggest keeping that side of the flat heavier with furniture and curtains, and making sure the north and east inside the home stay light and uncluttered.
Large balconies are not closed off. We suggest how to use them: seating and planters arranged to balance the zone, and the north and east balconies kept clear.
High floor or low floor?
Buyers often ask whether a higher floor is better for Vastu. Floor height does not change the 16-zone layout of a flat. A unit on the 3rd floor and one on the 23rd with the same plan read the same way. What changes is light, ventilation and the view, which we take into account practically.
Kitchens in compact plans
Most kitchens here are compact and often open to the dining area. We check where the stove sits, which way the cook faces, and whether the sink and stove are pressed against each other. A stove in the south-east part of the counter with the cook facing east is the traditional ideal. When that is not possible, orientation, colour and keeping fire and water apart do most of the work.
Offices near the tech parks
Along the Outer Ring Road there are offices of every size, from large campuses to small teams in commercial buildings. For an office we place the owner or founder in the south-west facing north or east, the finance function in a stable zone, reception near the entrance on the north or east side, and meeting rooms in the north-west or west. All of it is done through layout. See Vastu for Office.
Buying in Bellandur
If you are buying a flat here, send us the unit plan and tower position before you book. We compare the units you are considering from the drawings, then confirm on site at possession. Also check the project’s registration on the Karnataka RERA portal, a legal step separate from Vastu.
How a visit in Bellandur works
A typical apartment visit in Bellandur takes one to two hours, and an independent house, villa or plot takes longer. We take compass readings at several points, away from steel, wiring and appliances that disturb the needle, note how each space is used and scan the bedrooms, desks and seating areas with the Lecher Antenna. Within 48 hours you receive the written VIDS report: the zone map, every reading, what is working, what needs attention and the corrections in order of priority. Questions after that are answered on WhatsApp. Weekend slots are available for working couples.
Fees and what you receive
Fees are fixed by property type and quoted before the visit, with nothing charged afterwards for the report. Current Bangalore fees for apartments, villas, plots and commercial premises are on our Pricing page, and our sample Vastu report shows the format you receive. We do not sell yantras, pyramids, crystals or any other products. Every correction uses what you already have: placement, room use, colour, light and the balance of the five elements.
Questions we hear in Bellandur
“We are on a high floor. Does Vastu apply?” Yes. Floor height does not change the zone map.
“Do we need to change the kitchen?” Usually not. Most corrections are about the stove position, direction and colour.
“Can you visit on a weekend?” Yes.
“Do you cover nearby areas?” Yes, including HSR Layout, Sarjapur Road and Marathahalli.
Rented flats
Many Bellandur residents rent. Every correction we suggest is non-structural, so it can be applied without a landlord’s permission and carried to the next home. For a rented flat we keep the report short and practical, focused on bedroom choice, bed and desk direction, storage, colour and keeping the north-east and centre clear.
Children and study
Families with school-age children ask about the study table. We place it facing north or east, with a wall behind and daylight from the side, in a quiet zone away from the television and the main walkway. Good evening lighting and a clear desk matter as much as direction, and we say so in the report.
Colour and light by zone
In a fixed apartment, colour and lighting do much of the balancing. Lighter shades suit the north and east, warmer earth tones suit the south-west, and the south-east, the zone of fire, takes warm accents well. We suggest colours for walls, curtains and furnishings zone by zone, and point out where better lighting would help, particularly in a dark north-east or a windowless centre.
Areas we cover around Bellandur
On-site visits cover Bellandur, Kadubeesanahalli, Devarabisanahalli, Green Glen Layout, Kariyammana Agrahara, Ambalipura, Haralur and the Outer Ring Road towards Marathahalli and Sarjapur Road. Message us the location on WhatsApp and we will confirm the visit and fee before you book. Online consultations are available for anyone who cannot host a visit. An online assessment uses traditional Vastu only, the 16-zone map and the 3×3 grid drawn on your plan; geopathic stress readings need a site visit.
