Vardhini Vastu offers Vastu consultation for NRIs and Indian families abroad: your home in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, the Gulf or Singapore, and the property you are buying or building back in India. Everything can be done online, on a schedule that suits your time zone, and for property in Bangalore we can visit on your behalf. Every recommendation works without demolition.

We apply traditional Vastu Shastra with measurement: compass readings at several points, a 16-zone map from the exact centre of the home, and on-site Lecher Antenna scans where we visit in person.

Two homes, one consultant

NRI clients usually come with one of two needs. Some want their home abroad assessed: a detached house in New Jersey, a flat in London, a villa in Dubai, a condominium in Singapore. Others are buying or building in India from overseas and need someone they can trust to check the property properly. Many need both.

Having one consultant for both means the same method, the same language and the same report format, whichever home it is.

How Vastu consultation for NRIs works

An online consultation follows the same method as an on-site one:

• Plans and photos: your floor plan with the north direction marked and photos of each room.
• Live video walk-through at a time that suits you, with compass readings at several points.
• 16-zone map from the centre of your home.
• Written report within 48 hours, corrections in priority order.
• Follow-up call to go through the report.

Scheduling across time zones is routine. Early mornings and late evenings in India often suit clients in North America and Europe.

Western house layouts

Homes abroad are built differently from Indian homes: open-plan kitchens, basements, attached garages, staircases in the middle of the house, and bedrooms all upstairs. We map them into the same 16-zone grid and give corrections that make sense in that setting.

A kitchen island, for example, is read for where the cooktop sits and which way the cook faces. A basement is read for its use and how it is lit. An attached garage is treated as a heavy, closed zone of the house.

Magnetic declination

Compass readings need care abroad. Magnetic north and true north differ by an angle called declination, which varies by location and can be large in parts of North America. We record your location, check the local value using a source such as the NOAA magnetic field calculator, and state clearly in the report which north reference the readings use.

Buying in Bangalore from abroad

If you are buying a flat, villa or plot in Bangalore while living overseas, we can visit the property on your behalf, take compass and Lecher Antenna readings, and share the findings with you on video. Building a house in India while abroad

If you are building on a plot in India, we review your architect’s drawings online, mark each room on the 16-zone map and send written notes the architect can work from. For Bangalore plots we can also visit before you buy and during construction.

Homes in the Gulf

Villas and apartments in the UAE, Qatar and other Gulf countries are often new builds in planned communities. We read them like any other home, paying attention to how large glazed areas and outdoor spaces affect the zone balance, and how heat and sun on the south and west are managed.

Homes in the UK and Europe

Terraced and semi-detached houses share walls, so their open sides matter more. Flats in older buildings may have rooms arranged in unusual ways. We map them precisely and suggest corrections that suit the building and local conditions.

Homes in North America and Australia

Detached houses with basements, garages and open-plan living are common. Declination matters more here, as noted above. Corrections focus on room use, bedroom allocation, kitchen layout and keeping the north-east and centre clear.

Puja rooms abroad

Many families abroad keep a puja corner or small room. The north-east is the traditional position, kept light and uncluttered. In homes where that zone is a garage or utility room, we find the most suitable alternative.

The online consultation fee is listed on our Pricing page. Large or complex properties are quoted after we see the plan. Every client receives a written VIDS report within 48 hours; the sample report shows the format. We do not sell products of any kind.

Rented homes abroad

Many NRIs rent. All our corrections are non-structural, so they work in rented homes and travel with you when you move.

Working from home across time zones

Remote work across time zones often means long or late hours at a home desk. We place it facing north or east with a wall behind, in a calm zone, and keep it separate from the bedroom where possible.

Children and study

For children studying abroad, the same principles apply: a desk facing north or east, a wall behind, daylight from the side and a quiet zone.

Colour and light

Colour and lighting do much of the balancing in homes abroad. Lighter shades suit the north and east, warmer tones the south-west. We suggest colours zone by zone.

Who you work with

Every consultation is led by Raghavendra Hebbur, founder of Vardhini Vastu and creator of the VIDS™ method, based in Bangalore. You deal with the same person from first message to final report.

Taking accurate readings at home

Phone compasses can be off by several degrees indoors, especially near steel framing, wiring, appliances and large mirrors. During the video call we guide you to take readings at several points, away from metal, and we discard readings that disagree. We also cross-check against your home’s position on a map or the site plan. The report explains how the readings were taken so you know the basis of every recommendation.

Condominiums and high-rise flats

In Singapore, Dubai, Toronto and many other cities, families live in high-rise condominiums. The structure is fixed, so we read the unit from its centre and focus on what you control: bedroom allocation, bed direction, the desk, the kitchen arrangement and keeping the north-east and centre clear. Balconies and floor-to-ceiling glass are read for which zones they open to the outside.

Selling or renting out your India property

NRIs who own property in India sometimes rent it out or plan to sell. We do not issue certificates of compliance, but we can prepare a written assessment of the property as it stands, which some owners share with tenants or buyers who ask about Vastu.

Parents living in your India home

Many NRIs own a home in India where their parents live. We can assess it on site in Bangalore, with your parents present and you joining by video, and pay particular attention to their bedroom, bathroom access, lighting and safe walking routes alongside the zone map.

Language and communication

Calls can include the whole family, wherever each member lives, and can be recorded for those who cannot join. Reports are written in clear English, with technical terms explained, so everyone in the family can follow them.

What an online Vastu assessment covers

An online assessment uses traditional Vastu analysis only. We draw the 16-zone map from the centre of your plan, using compass readings you take with us on a video call, and lay the 3×3 grid over the same plan: the nine-square division with the Brahmasthan at the centre. Every finding comes from these two methods, such as which zone holds each door, room, kitchen, toilet and water point, and how the nine squares and the centre are used.

Geopathic stress readings with the Lecher Antenna and the Universal Aura Scanner are not part of an online assessment, because they need us physically on site. If your online report suggests a closer look is worthwhile, an on-site visit can follow.
