Vastu Consultant in Banashankari

Vastu assessments for independent houses, multi-floor family homes and shops across Banashankari's stages.

Vardhini Vastu is a Vastu consultant in Banashankari for independent houses, multi-generation family homes and the shops and clinics on its main roads, across 1st, 2nd and 3rd Stage, BSK 6th Stage, Kathriguppe, Hosakerehalli and Padmanabhanagar. Most homes here stand on their own plot and have grown with the family over the years. We read the plot and every floor, and nothing we recommend involves demolition.

Our method applies traditional Vastu Shastra with instruments: compass readings at several points, a 16-zone map from the centre of the plot and of each floor, and a Lecher Antenna scan. A written report follows within 48 hours.

Family homes built over generations

Banashankari is largely made up of independent houses on planned sites. Many were extended or rebuilt as families grew, and it is common to find three generations in one building, each on its own floor, with a shop, clinic or office on the ground floor facing the road.

We assess the plot once and then each floor for the people who use it. Parents often ask about health and peace, the working generation about career and finances, and children about study. Each floor gets advice that fits its use.

What a Vastu consultant in Banashankari reads first

On a Banashankari visit we usually begin with the plot:

  • The gate, car entry and pedestrian entry, each measured.
  • Open and built sides and the size of each setback.
  • The staircase, internal or external, and its zone.
  • Sump and overhead tank positions.
  • The main door of each floor and its position on its side.
  • Additions made over the years and how they changed the balance.

Then we move inside to the kitchen, bedrooms and puja room on every floor.

Additions over the years

A room added on the terrace, a staircase moved outside, a portico enclosed to make another room: each change alters the original balance of the plot. We note every addition and read the house as it stands today, not as it was first built.

Often an addition explains a concern the family has had for years. A heavy room built in the north-east, for example, or a new toilet in the centre. Our corrections work with what is there, through use, placement, colour and light.

Planning to add a floor

If you are adding a floor or rebuilding, show us the plan before construction. The staircase, overhead tank, new kitchen and bedroom positions are far easier to get right on paper. We review the architect’s drawings on the 16-zone map and send written notes the architect can work from.

Puja rooms and prayer spaces

Banashankari is known for its temple, and most families here keep a dedicated puja room. The north-east is the traditional position, kept light, clean and uncluttered, with nothing heavy above it. Where the puja room sits under a staircase or beside a toilet, we suggest the most suitable alternative in the existing plan.

Clinics and shops on the ground floor

Many ground floors facing the main roads are clinics, pharmacies, tuition centres and shops. We assess these as business spaces: the entrance, the counter or reception, where the owner or doctor sits and where stock or records are kept. Most changes are layout adjustments that take a day or two. See Vastu for Shops.

Elderly parents and ground-floor rooms

In multi-generation homes, grandparents usually live on the ground floor. We look for a calm zone for their bedroom, a bathroom within easy reach, good morning light and clear walking routes. The south and west rooms traditionally suit rest well. These practical points sit alongside the directional reading in the report.

Kitchens on each floor

When each floor has its own kitchen, each is read for its own zone, stove position and cooking direction. A stove in the south-east part of the kitchen with the cook facing east is the traditional ideal. When a kitchen sits elsewhere, orientation, colour and keeping fire and water apart do most of the work.

Terraces and water tanks

Overhead tanks traditionally belong in the south-west, where their weight is supportive. Tanks in the north-east are a common finding in older houses. We do not ask for them to be moved immediately, but we note the issue and suggest how to balance it, and mark the better position for when the tank is next replaced.

Buying a house in Banashankari

Houses here rarely come on the market. If you are considering one, a pre-purchase assessment gives you a clear view of the plot, the entrance, the staircase and any obvious imbalances before you commit. See Vastu for Plot / Land for the checklist.

How a visit in Banashankari works

An independent house visit in Banashankari usually takes two to three hours, depending on floors and the terrace; an apartment takes one to two. We take compass readings at several points on each floor and outside, away from steel, wiring and appliances that disturb the needle, note how each space is used and scan bedrooms and work areas with the Lecher Antenna. Within 48 hours you receive the written VIDS report: the zone map for the plot and each floor, every reading, what is working, what needs attention and the corrections in order of priority. Questions after that are answered on WhatsApp.

Fees and what you receive

Fees are fixed by property type and quoted before the visit, with nothing charged afterwards for the report. Current Bangalore fees for apartments, independent houses and commercial premises are on our Pricing page, and our sample Vastu report shows the format you receive. We do not sell yantras, pyramids, crystals or any other products. Every correction uses what you already have: placement, room use, colour, light and the balance of the five elements.

Questions we hear in Banashankari

“Can you assess a multi-generation home floor by floor?” Yes. We read the plot once and map each floor.

“We are adding a floor. When should we call you?” Before construction starts.

“Do you assess clinics and shops on the ground floor?” Yes.

“Do you cover nearby areas?” Yes, including Jayanagar, JP Nagar and Rajajinagar.

Children’s study rooms

With grandchildren in the house, the study table comes up often. We place it facing north or east with a wall behind and daylight from the side, in a quiet zone away from the television. A clear desk and good evening light matter as much as direction.

Rented floors

Owners who let one or two floors ask how to keep tenants comfortable. We read each rental floor’s entrance, kitchen and bedrooms, and keep the shared staircase and gate clear and well lit. Tenants can apply our suggestions within their own floor without any construction.

What Vastu can and cannot do

Families come to us with real concerns about health, relationships and finances. We take them seriously and explain what our assessment covers. A Vastu report is guidance based on classical principles and measured readings. It is not medical, legal or financial advice, and we never promise particular outcomes. Our editorial standards explain how we separate tradition, measurement and interpretation.

Areas we cover around Banashankari

On-site visits cover Banashankari 1st, 2nd and 3rd Stage, BSK 6th Stage, Kathriguppe, Hosakerehalli, Padmanabhanagar, Girinagar, Chikkalasandra and the roads towards Kanakapura Road and Uttarahalli. Message us the location on WhatsApp and we will confirm the visit and fee before booking.

Front setbacks, vehicles and the entrance

In Banashankari the front setback usually holds a car or two-wheelers, plants and sometimes a small shed. These sit right in front of the main door and shape how that side of the plot reads. A heavy structure in the north or east setback blocks the openness classical Vastu values on those sides. We suggest how to park and arrange the space so the path to the door stays open and bright, without asking anyone to remove a structure.

Mirrors, beams and clutter

Alongside direction, a few practical points come up in almost every older home: mirrors facing beds, heavy beams directly over the sleeping position, and storage piled in corners and under stairs. We note these during the visit and suggest simple changes that sit alongside the directional reading in the report.
