Vardhini Vastu is a Vastu consultant in Hebbal for premium apartments, older independent houses and offices around Hebbal lake, Manyata Tech Park, Nagawara, Thanisandra and the Bellary Road corridor towards the airport. We read every home with instruments, map it into 16 zones and send a written report within 48 hours. None of our corrections require breaking a wall.
The method applies traditional Vastu Shastra with measurement: compass readings at several points, a zone map drawn from the exact centre of the property and a Lecher Antenna scan on site. Below is how that works for the mix of buildings you find in this part of north Bangalore.
Two very different kinds of home
Hebbal sits where old north Bangalore meets the new. Close to the lake and along Bellary Road you find high-rise apartments with large glazed walls, many of them premium projects. On the older streets towards RT Nagar and Ganganagar there are independent houses on regular sites, some built decades ago and since extended.
These need different assessments. In a high-rise flat the structure is fixed and the question is how each zone is used. In an independent house the plot, compound, gate, staircase and terrace all come into the reading, and many of them can still be adjusted.
What a Vastu consultant in Hebbal looks at in a glass-heavy flat
Full-height glass changes how light, heat and movement flow through a home. On a typical visit in one of the newer towers we check:
- Which zones are fully open to the outside, and which are closed.
- The main door degree and its position among the eight entrance positions on that side.
- Kitchen and stove placement, and the direction the cook faces.
- The master bedroom zone and bed direction.
- The north-east, which should be light and clean.
- The work desk, since many residents work with the nearby tech parks.
Large windows are not a problem in themselves. What matters is which zone they fall in. A fully glazed north or east is generally welcome; a fully glazed south-west usually needs balancing with heavier furniture, curtains or screening.
Independent houses near RT Nagar and Ganganagar
For houses on their own plot we read the whole site, not just the rooms. We look at the gate and car entry, which sides of the plot are open, where the staircase runs, and where the sump and overhead tank sit. These elements carry real weight in Vastu and are often overlooked.
Many of these homes have grown over the years, with a floor added for children or tenants. We assess each floor for the people who live on it, while keeping the plot-level reading in view. Our page on independent house Vastu explains the full checklist.
Home offices near Manyata
A large share of Hebbal residents work with Manyata Tech Park and the offices along the Outer Ring Road, and many work from home part of the week. The desk is where they spend most of their waking hours, so its placement deserves care.
We usually place the desk so you face north or east, with a solid wall behind your chair rather than a door or window. The zone the study sits in matters too: a desk in a calm, settled zone supports long periods of focus better than one in the busiest part of the home.
Frequent travellers and NRI owners
Being close to the airport, Hebbal has many owners who travel often or live abroad part of the year. If you cannot be present, a family member can host the site visit while you join by video. The readings, photographs and written report are shared digitally, and we go through them with you on a call.
If you own a flat here but live overseas, we can also assess your home abroad. Our page on Vastu for NRIs covers how that works.
Offices and commercial spaces
Along Bellary Road and around Manyata there are offices, showrooms, clinics and restaurants. For these we follow how people and money move: where visitors enter, where the owner sits, where accounts are handled and how the team area is arranged. The owner’s seat usually belongs in the south-west, facing north or east. Reception works best near the entrance on the north or east side.
Most commercial corrections are layout changes that tenants can make. See Vastu for Office for more.
How the visit works
An apartment visit usually takes one to two hours; an independent house with a terrace takes longer. We take compass readings at several points, away from steel and appliances that disturb the needle, and note how each room is used. The Lecher Antenna scan focuses on where people sleep and sit for long periods.
Within 48 hours you receive the written VIDS report with the zone map, every reading, what is working, what needs attention and prioritised corrections.
Fees and what you receive
Fees are fixed by property type and quoted before the visit. Current Bangalore fees are on our Pricing page, and the sample Vastu report shows the format of the deliverable. We do not sell yantras or products; every correction uses what you already have.
Questions we hear in Hebbal
“Is a lake-facing flat good for Vastu?” It depends which side the lake is on. Water and openness are traditionally welcome in the north and east.
“Our old house needs work. Should we rebuild?” Not for Vastu alone. If you are renovating anyway, involve us at the drawing stage. See Vastu for home renovation.
“Do you cover Thanisandra and Jakkur?” Yes, along with the whole of North Bangalore.
“How soon can you visit?” Message us on WhatsApp for the next available slot.
Balconies, decks and terraces
Many newer homes around Hebbal have generous balconies or private decks, and top-floor units often come with a terrace. These are open zones, and their position matters. A wide balcony in the north or east adds to the openness that classical Vastu values. A large deck in the south-west, by contrast, makes the heaviest zone of the home the most open one.
We do not ask anyone to close a balcony. Instead we suggest how to use it: planters and seating arranged to add weight where needed, screens or blinds in the south and west, and keeping the north and east sides light and uncluttered. On terraces we also look at where water tanks, solar panels and any built rooms sit.
Kitchens in open-plan layouts
Premium apartments increasingly use open kitchens that flow into the dining and living area. That is a design choice we work with, not against. What we check is where the cooking range actually sits in the 16-zone map, which way the cook faces, and whether the sink and range are placed directly opposite or beside each other.
When the range falls outside the south-east, the correction is usually about orientation and the surrounding zone: which way the cook stands, what colours and materials are nearby, and keeping water and fire from being pressed against each other.
Buying in a new north Bangalore project
Hebbal is the gateway to the large residential projects that line the route to the airport. If you are choosing between units in one of them, send us the floor plans and the tower position on the master plan before you book. We compare the options from the drawings and confirm the final choice with an on-site reading once the structure is handed over.
Our page on Vastu for builder projects explains why a project-level label of Vastu compliance is not the same as a check of your specific unit.
Families with elderly parents
Many Hebbal households include grandparents. Their room deserves particular care: a calm, settled zone, a bed that is easy to reach, a bathroom close by, and good morning light where possible. In Vastu, the south-west is traditionally the zone of the head of the family, while the south and west rooms generally suit older members who value rest.
We note these needs during the visit and fold them into the report, together with practical points such as night lighting and avoiding clutter on walking routes.

Frequently asked questions.
Do you visit homes near Hebbal and Manyata Tech Park?
Yes. Hebbal, Nagawara, Thanisandra and the Bellary Road side are covered for on-site visits.
My flat has full glass walls on one side. Is that a Vastu problem?
Not by itself. What matters is which zone the glass falls in. We measure it and suggest curtains, colours or placements where a zone needs more weight or privacy.
Can the visit happen while I am travelling?
Yes. A family member can be present at the property and you can join by video call. The report is shared digitally.
How soon do I get the report?
The written VIDS report is delivered within 48 hours of the visit.
