Vastu Consultant in Chickpet

Vastu assessments for wholesale shops, godowns, trading offices and homes above shops in Chickpet, Cottonpet, Nagarathpet, Balepet, Avenue Road and Gandhinagar.

As a Vastu consultant in Chickpet, we work in the old trading heart of the city: Chickpet, Cottonpet, Nagarathpet, Balepet, Avenue Road and the streets towards Gandhinagar. This is where wholesale and retail trade has run for generations, in narrow buildings with a shop on the ground floor, stock above or behind, and often the family home on the upper floors. Space is tight, frontages are fixed and buildings share walls, so a reading here has to be practical above all.

We use our VIDS 16-zone method, measured from true north on site. We keep classical guidance apart from what we measure, plan corrections without demolition, sell no products and take no commission. We do not promise sales or profits. We tell you how your shop, godown or home reads by direction and what can realistically change.

Wholesale shops and showrooms

In a wholesale shop, the key positions are the entrance, the owner seat, the cash and billing counter, the display and the stock. A typical reading looks at:

  • The shop entrance on its wall, read by the 32 padas.
  • The owner seat in the south-west part of the shop, facing north or east.
  • The cash counter and billing desk facing north or east.
  • Heavy stock and bundles along the south and west walls.
  • The display of samples towards the north and east, where light is best.
  • The centre of the shop floor kept clear for movement.

See Vastu for shops and Vastu for showrooms.

Narrow buildings with shared walls

Most buildings in the pete areas are narrow and deep, with shared side walls and a single street frontage. Two sides are fixed and the entrance can only be on the street. We read what you control: the position of the shutter along the frontage, the internal layout, the mezzanine, the staircase use and the arrangement of stock.

A narrow shop facing south or west is not a problem in itself. The pada of the shutter, the owner seat and the stock layout matter far more than the facing. See 32 entrances Vastu.

Godowns and stock rooms

Stock is often held in a godown behind the shop, on an upper floor or in a separate building nearby. Tradition places heavy, slow-moving stock in the south-west, fast-moving goods towards the north-west where they leave from, and keeps the north-east of any store clear and clean. Bundles of cloth, sacks and cartons stacked in the north-east corner because it is nearest the door are the most common finding we see.

See warehouse Vastu.

Homes above the shop

Many trading families live above their shop. The home is read as its own unit, with its own centre, kitchen, bedrooms and toilets, separate from the shop below. The common staircase is checked for its zone, since it serves both. Keeping the two readings apart means a choice that suits the shop does not get mixed up with what suits the family.

See Vastu for home and staircase Vastu.

Offices of trading businesses

Accounts, billing and the owner cabin often sit on a mezzanine or upper floor. The owner cabin suits the south-west of that floor, accounts face north, and records and files go along the south and west walls. See Vastu for accounts and finance and cabin seating.

Hotels and lodges near Gandhinagar

The streets towards Gandhinagar and the city bus and railway stations have lodges, small hotels and restaurants. For these, we read the reception, the kitchen in the south-east, guest rooms and the owner seat. See Vastu for hotels and restaurants.

How the visit works

We visit when the shop is open, at a time that suits your business. Compass readings are taken at several points, away from steel shutters, racks and wiring, which pull the needle, and corrected for magnetic declination, which you can check with the NOAA magnetic declination calculator. We sketch the shop, stores and home and mark every element by zone.

Lecher Antenna readings can be added on site if you want them, described honestly as radiesthesia, which mainstream science does not accept, and kept separate from measured findings.

Common findings in the pete areas

  • Stock bundles stacked in the north-east corner beside the shutter.
  • The owner seat at the front facing the street to the south or west.
  • The cash counter placed where it fits, facing a wall.
  • A toilet built under the staircase in the centre of a narrow building.
  • The family kitchen upstairs in the north-east.

Each is measured and ranked by how practical it is to change.

Corrections that suit a running shop

  • Move the owner seat to the south-west and face north or east.
  • Turn the cash counter to face north or east.
  • Clear the north-east of stock and keep it bright.
  • Shift heavy stock to the south and west walls.
  • Keep the shop centre and the entrance free.

Most of these can be done on a holiday. See zero-demolition corrections.

Fees and reports

Commercial assessments start from ₹51,000 and are quoted after we see the premises. A Bangalore apartment or row house is ₹15,000; a villa or independent house is ₹25,000. The written report arrives within 48 hours. See all fees and a sample report.

Why Vardhini Vastu

We have practised since 2016, completed more than 3,200 consultations and hold a 5.0 rating from 248 Google reviews. We measure before we advise, separate classical guidance from measurement, sell nothing and take no commission. We make no promises about trade or profit.

Textile, hardware and jewellery trades

Each trade in the pete areas has its own layout habits. Textile and saree shops hold heavy bundles and need good light for colour, so stock suits the south and west and the display the north and east. Hardware and electrical traders hold heavy, dense stock, which suits the south-west, with the billing counter near the entrance facing north or east. Jewellery and gold businesses keep a safe or locker, which tradition places in the south-west, opening towards the north.

The same principles serve every trade. What changes is how much weight and light each one needs, and we adjust the reading to the business rather than applying a fixed list.

Taking over or extending a shop

Shops in the old city change hands within families or between traders, and neighbouring units are sometimes joined. When a shop is extended into the next unit, the centre and the zones of the whole shop move. We read the new combined space so the owner seat, counter and stock are placed for the shop as it will be, not as it was. If you are taking over premises, a reading before you fit them out saves rearranging later.

Mezzanines and upper floors

Mezzanines are common in narrow shops. Tradition prefers the extra weight of a mezzanine along the south or west wall, leaving the north-east of the shop with full height and light. The staircase to the mezzanine suits the south or west side. Upper floors used for stock or offices are each read on their own plan.

Common questions in Chickpet

Can you read a shop and the home above in one visit? Yes. We read each separately in the same visit.

Do you work on holidays or after trading hours? We plan the visit at a time that suits your business; tell us when you book.

Will you tell us a shop is unlucky? No. We describe how the layout reads and what can be changed.

Light and ventilation in deep buildings

Deep, narrow buildings are often dark in the middle and stuffy at the back. Tradition and practicality agree here: keep the north-east and the centre bright, keep the back of the shop free of damp, and open any window or skylight that can be opened. Good light at the entrance and over the counter is one of the simplest and most effective changes in a pete shop, and it costs very little.

Where the back of a building holds a toilet or a wash area, good ventilation and a dry floor matter more than anything else. See toilet direction Vastu.

Before you buy or lease in the old city

For a shop or building you are considering, note the frontage direction, where the shutter can go, whether the back of the building is in the south-west, and whether any toilet or staircase sits in the north-east or centre. A Vastu consultant in Chickpet can read these quickly on site, and our pre-purchase Vastu check sets them out in writing before you commit.

Frequently asked questions.

Do you cover Cottonpet, Nagarathpet, Balepet and Avenue Road?

Yes, along with Chickpet and the streets towards Gandhinagar.

Our shop is narrow and faces south. Is that a problem?

Not in itself. The shutter position, owner seat, counter and stock layout matter more than the facing.

Will you need us to close the shop for the visit?

No. We visit while you trade, at a time that suits you.

Do you sell yantras or products for shops?

No. Every correction is about layout, placement or use.
